Eric J. Adams - Director
An award-winning screenwriter, director, producer, and author, Eric relies on his unique background to develop film projects exploring contemporary social issues. He co-produced and wrote the feature film Supremacy, starring Academy Award-winner Mahershala Ali and Danny Glover, and he co-wrote and produced My Suicide, winner of 21 awards, including the Crystal Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival. Eric also directed and wrote To Save A Child, a documentary short on teen suicide, narrated by Mariel Hemingway. Eric was recently named a Djerassi Screenwriting Fellowship finalist by the San Francisco Film Society. He sits on the board of directors of the non-profit International Center for Rights and Justice. Eric successfully produced Rickshaw Girl, which was featured at the Mill Valley and Vancouver Film Festivals, won numerous awards, and is now being streamed on Apple TV+ and Prime Video. Eric earned a Masters of Arts in Film Studies, and also holds a Film and Television Industry Essentials Certificate from NYU/Tisch.
Mitch Albom - Executive Producer
Mitch Albom is an internationally renowned and best-selling author, journalist, screenwriter, playwright, radio and television broadcaster and musician. His books have collectively sold more than 40 million copies worldwide; have been published in 49 territories and in 47 languages around the world; and have been made into Emmy Award-winning and critically-acclaimed television movies. Albom wrote the screenplays for For One More Day, The Five People You Meet in Heaven, and Have a Little Faith, and the off-Broadway version of Tuesdays With Morrie (co-written with Jeffrey Hatcher). Four of Albom’s best sellers have been turned into successful TV movies. Oprah Winfrey produced the film version of Tuesdays With Morrie, starring Jack Lemmon and Hank Azaria. The film garnered four Emmy awards, including best TV film, director, actor, and supporting actor. His five philanthropies include the Have Faith Haiti Mission orphanage. That, coupled with Mitch’s forthcoming fall title, prompted his interest in executive producing Angels of Amsterdam.
Ulrika Grünwald Citron - Executive Producer
Born and raised in Sweden, Ulrika Grünwald Citron moved to the US for college. Her early career began as a production intern at WHYY in Philadelphia. Upon graduating Temple University, she worked at WNET/Great Performances in New York, followed by Swedish Broadcasting, New York. For the past two decades, Ulrika has dedicated her life to non-profit, non-governmental organizations, chairing and co-chairing committees at the USC Shoah Foundation and the UJA (United Jewish Appeal) of New York. A daughter of a Holocaust Survivor from Amsterdam, NL—specifically, the crèche upon which Angels of Amsterdam is based–Ulrika has pursued involvements in organizations aiming to further educate about the Holocaust and Genocide. She serves on the Board of Governors of the National Holocaust Museum in Amsterdam and supports the Stolpersteine Project in Amsterdam. Ulrika is married and has three grown children.
Eric Leemon - Executive Producer
Eric Leemon began his entertainment career in 1995 as a member of International Creative Management’s prestigious Agent Training Program. Since then, he has held executive positions at Sony Pictures Television, World Poker Tour and 44 Blue Productions. As an independent producer, Leemon has had a hand in delivering hundreds of hours of programming, including: Russian Roulette, Ripley’s Believe it or Not, The Adventurist, The Colony, Deadliest Catch, Wild Justice, Ax Men, Pit Bulls and Parolees, Bad Blood, American Daredevils, Filthy Riches, Hardcore Pawn, Scoring the Deal, Milwaukee Blacksmith, Diesel Brothers, TLC’s The Program: Prison Detox, and Brave Mission for Leonardo DiCaprio’s Appian Way, Brave Wilderness & YouTube Originals. In addition to his producing duties, Eric Leemon is a member in good standing with the Producers Guild of America, and has served multiple terms on the Executive Committee of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences’ Production Executives Group. His wife’s grandparents hid children during WWII.
