Joey Jovanovich

Events Manager

Joey Jovanovich has a 20-year career producing documentary film and television, as well as live events. Her documentary work has spanned a wide range of subjects, from history to science to travel. Over the course of her career she has written and produced for PBS, the History Channel, National Geographic, CBS, Netflix and the BBC. She has also directed short films for nonprofit organizations including Mobility International and Emerge America. In 2017, she co-produced the Netflix Original feature documentary Seeing Allred. In the live events space, she has produced celebrity-filled fundraising theatrical shows for nonprofit organizations and coordinated a worldwide film screening for International Holocaust Remembrance Day, along with numerous other film screenings and fundraising events. Joey graduated from Smith College in Massachusetts and earned a Master’s degree in Documentary Film Production at Emerson College in Boston.
