Yuval is an Israeli filmmaker with over a decade of experience. Fluent in English, Hebrew and Arabic, Yuval looks to bridge a keen understanding of conflicting cultures via his work as a multimedia writer, director and producer. Yuval’s work spans the gamut from documentary to fiction and interactive multimedia projects. His most recent series, Earn a Living (Arte, BR, VPRO, 2018), was shot in six different countries in five languages. His work has been nominated for numerous international awards, including the IDFA DocLab Competition for Digital Storytelling, the BANFF Rockie Award for Best Interactive Content, the Digital Media Award at Prix Europa and an Ophir Award for Best Short Documentary. Yuval’s films and series have screened at film festivals around the world, including IDFA, the Jerusalem Film Festival, DOK.Leipzig and DocAviv, among others.

Aziz is a peace builder, cultural educator, entrepreneur, author and international speaker. Aziz is the co-founder of InterAct International, a non profit advancing sustainability, education, and cross cultural connections. He has served as Executive Director at the Center for World Religions, Diplomacy and Conflict Resolution at George Mason University and as the Chairman for the Parents Circle Family Forum. Aziz’s educational and conflict resolution work throughout the world has earned him the titles of National Geographic Explorer and Ted Fellow. He hosted the four-part web series documentary Conflict Zone, featuring perspectives from both sides of the conflict. His writing has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, and Al Arabiya, among others. He has been named one of the 500 most influential Muslims in the World by the Royal Strategic Centre in Jordan each year since 2010.

Liel Maghen

Liel has been involved in the field of peacebuilding for over a decade. Working in both top-down and bottom-up initiatives, his experience includes working with the Israeli Knesset and the Palestinian Authority, the United States Congress, and the EU together with co-directing IPCRI and managing programs for leading peacebuilding organizations such as Seeds of Peace, Givat Haviva, MEJDI Tours, and AIES. Within the city of Jerusalem, Liel co-managed an EU-funded project focused on grassroots community organizing and advocacy, led cross-communal delegations to other cities in conflict and co-founded the Sinsila Center for Urban Sustainability in East Jerusalem. He holds an M.A degree in International Development from Glocal and a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science and Middle Eastern Studies, both from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem

Margaux Missika

Margaux is a Paris-based producer at Upian Productions. Upian Productions is an internationally recognized magazine and documentary production company that has played an active role in the emergence of web documentaries in France and abroad. They work mostly with public broadcasters, in France and around the world, making content for their channels, platforms and social media. Upian Productions federates a network of writers, directors, editors, and journalists committed to making the web the place for journalistic and documentary excellence. In June 2023, Upian Productions was accredited as a press agency. In 2024, Upian Productions began producing documentaries about social sciences, producing the fourth season of Les Idées Larges and the second season of Les Grands Entretiens with Arte. Previous Upian Productions projects include: Gaza Sderot, Prison Valley, Alma, A Tale of Violence, Do Not Track, Generation What, Earn a Living, Chef.fe and Am I Normal.

Chris Patterson

Chris Patterson

Producer

Chris is a film producer from Northern Ireland with over two decades of industry experience. His work has garnered acclaim at prestigious festivals, including Aesthetica, Galway Film Fleadh, and Raindance. In 2023, he produced the award-winning thriller Lie of the Land, showcasing local Northern Irish talent. Chris is an advocate for the film community, receiving the BFI Vision Award in 2020 and currently serving on the ScreenSkills film council. As the owner of Causeway Pictures, he produced the documentary Hearth and co-produced the limited live-action series Senna, now available on Netflix.
