Zeva Oelbaum

Oelbaum is an award-winning documentary filmmaker whose work has been supported by grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities, New York State Council on the Arts, Claims Conference, Women in Film Finishing Fund, Regina Scully’s Artemis Rising and Laurie Tisch’s Illumination Fund, among others. Oelbaum co-directed and produced the feature documentary Letters From Baghdad, which was voiced and executive produced by Academy award-winner Tilda Swinton. It screened theatrically in over 120 theaters in the U.S. and U.K. and broadcast on PBS, BBC, ARTE and ZDF. It was one of the top performing documentaries of 2017. Oelbaum also produced Ahead of Time which premiered at TIFF and won six Best Documentary awards before being broadcast on Showtime and PBS. She co-directed and co-produced Obsessed With Light, co-produced by ZDF/ARTE and voiced by Tony and Emmy-winning actor, Cherry Jones. Oelbaum is a member of the Producers Guild of America.
Susan Margolin
Producer
Margolin is an award-winning documentary film producer, and a pioneer of digital distribution, with over 25 years of experience in independent film and media. She co-founded New Video/Docurama Films in 1992, growing it into a leading distributor of independent films, series, and documentaries before selling the company to Cinedigm in 2012. Margolin founded St. Marks Productions, producing award-winning features including Allison Berg’s Time Warp which premiered at Tribeca ’26, HBO’s A Tree of Life: The Pittsburgh Synagogue Shooting and Academy Award-shortlisted Desperate Souls, Dark City and the Legend of Midnight. Her other producing credits include A Crime on the Bayou, The Rape of Recy Taylor, Paper Children, and Monk in Pieces. Margolin serves on the boards of Chicken & Egg Films, the IDA, and Manhattan Neighborhood Network, and on the advisory boards of NYWIFT and Documentary Producers Alliance. She is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, BAFTA, and the Producers Guild of America.
