JFI/JSP Momentum Award
About
The Jewish Film Institute (JFI) and Jewish Story Partners (JSP) have joined together to select one participant in the JFI Filmmaker in Residence program per year to receive additional support for their documentary film project by way of the annual JFI/JSP MOMENTUM AWARD. In addition to participation in JFI’s residency program, the winner receives a financial award along with advisory support from JSP leadership and promotional support through JSP platforms.

About the Film
Filmmaker Shaina Feinberg is in the midst of a personal crisis, balancing a struggling film career with the relentless demands of motherhood. At her lowest point, she seeks guidance from Joan Darling, an octogenarian director of iconic shows including MASH, and The Mary Tyler Moore Show. In None of This Matters, Shaina documents Joan’s life while tracing their unlikely friendship and her own creative reckoning.

Tsvi Bokaer, a Tunisian Jewish immigrant to the United States and father of 6, loves movies as much as life itself, and has written some of the greatest films never made. When his filmmaker son Emile uncovers Tsvi’s long-hidden “underground films”…cinematic revelations ensue.
