Robert Berman

Director of Finance and Operations

Robert Berman spent almost 30 years serving as Chief Financial Officer or Finance Director for a variety of human service nonprofits. He has worked with organizations that provided support to children in foster care, health care for the uninsured, supportive housing and mental health services for people affected by homelessness, and social services for persons with HIV. Prior to his nonprofit work, he spent over 10 years in public accounting. He has a bachelor’s degree in Social Ecology from the University of California, Irvine, and a master’s degree in International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management, now a division of Arizona State University. He has served on the boards of directors of such organizations as Outfest and the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles.
