Types of Support
Jury Grants
Jewish Story Partners accepts applications through our annual open call. A rotating panel of esteemed filmmakers and experts selects projects for funding from this pool. In addition, JSP staff periodically awards small discretionary grants to promising projects from the open call.
Continuum of Support
In addition to receiving funding, grantees are invited into our continuum of support, where we provide advisory services according to a project’s specific area of need.
Additional Opportunities for Grantees
Reprise Grants
From time to time, Jewish Story Partners increases our investment in previously awarded projects which have shown significant progress. Each grantee will only be permitted to reapply once in the lifetime of the project. We strongly advise that filmmakers maximize the opportunity and resubmit only when significant advancements have been achieved.
Education-Impact Program
Each year, select JSP-supported films and accompanying discussion guides will be provided free of charge in educational and community settings nationwide. Jewish Story Partners is underwriting hundreds of screenings for each film, which will be distributed by collaborator Good Docs. Participation in this program is by invitation only.
